Purpose of the Study

The goal is to examine the viability of passive drag sails as a potential method for mitigating the growing problem of orbital debris and complying with emerging regulations.  The findings will help developers of space systems better meet the expectations of their potential end-users.

Video & Questionnaire Takes About 30 Minutes

The study consists of a 15-minute introductory video on the concept of deorbit drag sails followed by an online questionnaire expected to take approximately 15 - 20 minutes.
